Toil and pleasure

Sometimes I feel like an antique dealer, a hobbyist who has gone off track and turned his passion into his job. As a rule, an antique dealer cannot simply go to the wholesaler and order 10 more of his best-selling products to earn a living. No, it requires a tremendous amount of knowledge and time. Knowing what you want to sell and can sell, knowing what something is worth and especially where to look for it.

The same applies to us. Before you see a product appear on our website, we've already invested hours of work and quite a few costs. Just like an antique dealer, we search for goods that are no longer available in stores or wholesale. You need to know which perfumes are being sought after, have knowledge of the perfumes and, above all, know whether they are still good and authentic.

And then the real work...searching for hours until you find what you need. Like everyone else, we sometimes look for our perfumes on market platforms, but you will understand that there is not much to be found there. And if you do find something, the seller often knows what he is selling, so the price is according. Sometimes we also buy from businesses that went bankrupt, but in that case you need to know whether the merchandise is suitable for sale in the near future. Much more often we find rare specimens in old drugstores or perfumery shops. Or we know people who know people who know people who get rid of their old perfumes. There are many roads that lead to Rome.

But nevertheless, the enthusiasm and excitement when we find another "unicorn" is huge. That makes up for all the effort made. Not to mention our happy customers, who often search for years to find their favorite perfume again and are so happy that they can buy it from us.

I say that is toiling with joy!
