There was a time when I owned more than 200 bottles of perfume. So many new discoveries, so many old loves. It's really more than a hobby, it's a love. I can read for hours about perfumes. Smelling perfumes and discovering the different layers, I find it fascinating. Still, there came a point when I decided that it was fine to own more perfumes than the average person, but that my collection was really too large. I have started downsizing and although my collection sometimes changes, I now have a fairly permanent collection. I realize that it's still a lot, but well...that's why I'm a perfume fanatic. Here you see a photo of my perfume cabinet, which perfumes can you discover that are no longer available?

Maybe you see a bottle of Boucheron B eau de perfume somewhere in the photo. A scent I once got as a gift on a trip to Paris. At the time I thought it was a rather floral scent, a genre that I have never really liked. I finished the perfume and only years later did I suddenly feel the need to look for this scent again. And of course Boucheron B was no longer available. I spent many hours searching to find this perfume again. And as is often the case, I found her, not for the lowest price, that is. That is often the case when tracking down vintage perfume and discontinued perfume, you usually pay a high price tag for it. That is also one of the reasons why the perfumes on our website are not always very cheap.

Still, I am now very happy that I have found Boucheron B again. Even though it is a floral woody musk, I now find it less floral, but more sweet and woody. So you see, your taste can change over time. And let's face it, the bottle alone is a beauty. When I smell Boucheron B now, I think of a very memorable trip to Paris!
